The station will be located near Melrose Street and Crowther Avenue, just east of the 57 Freeway. It will be the closest Metrolink station to Cal State Fullerton.
A new multi-story parking structure will improve transit riders’ accessibility. The $35 million project includes a $5.4 million city contribution.
The station is expected to accommodate 530 passengers per day across 10 daily train trips. Transit-oriented development is planned around the Placentia station site.

Tri-City Regional Park is Placentia’s premier outdoor destination. The 40-acre park features an 8-acre lake, playgrounds, and walking trails.

PYLUSD celebrated 24 National Merit Semifinalists in the 2026 competition. Students from El Dorado, Valencia, and Yorba Linda High Schools earned this recognition.
