Work is now underway to bring Yorba Linda a new In-N-Out Burger location! Passers-by on Imperial Boulevard between Lemon Drive and Olinda Street will now notice construction crews beginning work on the new fast food restaurant, which has been a California staple since 1948 and known for its loyal burger fans. On Friday, March 5, it was announced that the City of Yorba Linda closed escrow with In-N-Out Burger, and thanks to over a year of preparation and planning, the company was ready to launch right into the construction phase. The project is taking shape on property occupied by the former public library and soil remediation equipment.
While many of us have come to know In-N-Out Burger’s iconic and ubiquitous locations across the Golden State, the new location in Yorba Linda will bring a fresh restaurant design to the area, which includes a large covered outdoor dining patio and a drive-thru lane with a significantly expanded capacity to eliminate traffic overflow onto Imperial Boulevard and surrounding streets. In-N-Out Burger will be following its “urban design” plan when building the Yorba Linda location.
In fact, the Yorba Linda restaurant’s drive-thru lane is designed to fit 30 vehicles at a time, which surpasses the projected queuing need identified in a traffic impact analysis. The plan is for In-N-Out’s new Yorba Linda location to open its doors this fall!
