By early 2022, Yorba Linda will have a new eatery at the corner of Main Street and Imperial Highway. The city’s Planning Commission gave a thumbs up to a request to establish and operate a new full-service restaurant at 4901 Main Street during its April 28, 2021 meeting. The restaurant, named Brix on Main, will occupy the former Yorba Linda Hardware Store location.
Once construction is complete, which is slated to include an entire building and site re-model, the upcoming establishment will be a two-story American fare restaurant and bar. In addition, it will also have a large patio dining area, rooftop seating and feature an open indoor/outdoor concept. Meanwhile, the aesthetic features of the new restaurant will highlight the prominent location while maintaining the historical integrity of the building’s façade.
Back in 2011, the City of Yorba Linda adopted the Town Center Specific Plan. The Specific Plan allows for customizing the standards and regulations of the city’s zoning ordinance to help achieve the intended vision for Town Center. The site of the upcoming Brix on Main restaurant will be the second property within the Historic Town Center District to redevelop since the Specific Plan was adopted.
