Prescheduled programs are getting underway at Yorba Linda’s new Cultural Arts Center! The new state-of-the-art facility recently opened its doors at 4802 Lakeview Ave., and features the Virginia De Land Theater, a flexible black box theater space, a Dance Studio, Music Room, and Art Studio with an adjoining Art Yard. Local groups will be able to utilize the new space to host theatrical productions, public art exhibits, art festivals, and other special events. However, due to the current COVID-19 situation, the Cultural Arts Center will be open intermittently for prescheduled programs only.
In addition to Yorba Linda’s Cultural Arts Center partially opening up, the city’s new Public Library is now open for Grab & Go Service, including holds, pick-up, and materials browsing. Library card holders will be required to make an online reservation in order to browse the shelves and pick up holds. Current hours for Grab & Go Service are from 11:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and closed Friday and Sunday. New hours will begin in the new year on Monday, January 4. The only change will be that the library facility will open from 10:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Hours on Saturday will remain the same, and the library will still be closed Fridays and Sundays.
