Anaheim recently welcomed modern Mexican/American outpost, Puesto, to the city’s Resort District. Diners can get a taste of Puesto’s signature house-made blue corn tortillas, tamarindo shrimp, or filet mignon tacos when they visit the new restaurant, which is located across from Disneyland and next to the Anaheim Convention Center at 1040 W Katella Avenue. Puesto advertises itself as a spot for artisan Mexican fare and the interiors of their upscale restaurants resonate with the menu’s mission.
Patrons can choose to feast on pomegranate and avocado guacamole or the braised short rib burrito inside an octagon-shaped booth set off by neon lights and long buff benches for an exclusive, VIP-experience feel. Are you in Vegas or Anaheim? We’ll let you decide. Other features include a pretty swanky bar serving up craft cocktails showcasing a moving liquor shelf and authentic Mexican beer, and Puesto’s bartenders will mix you up a margarita made with their own branded tequila.
One online reviewer for the new restaurant wrote, “Delicious tacos! We had two exclusive off the menu tacos that were superb! We’ll be back!” Puesto Anaheim joins other heavy hitters like the Rise Rooftop Lounge, Bar 1030, and Fleming’s Prime Steakhouse and Wine Bar at its Disneyland destination.
